Kerkmusiek: A Comprehensive Collection of Dutch Reformed Church Songs
Kerkmusiek is a free Android app developed by Bybel-Media that provides a comprehensive collection of songs used in the Dutch Reformed Church (DRC) and Dutch Reformed Church in South Africa (NHK). It includes Flam 1-35, Psalms 1-150, Hymn book songs, Confessions of faith and Liturgical forms.
One of the main features of the app is the ability to view and transpose chords for Flam songs with a valid MRL-license. It also allows users to compile, save and send a song list for use during worship service. The app includes recordings of well-known psalms and hymns and an advanced search function with up to three keywords for psalms and hymns. It also has a search function for confessions of faith and liturgical forms.
The app's adjustable color scheme and text size make it easy to use, and it prevents the screen from sleeping while in use. All verses are displayed with text only, with the option to view sheet music for Liedboek (NG Kerk) on tablets. Kerkmusiek requires Android 4.4 or a more recent version and a valid MRL-license to view chords for Flam songs.
